Further expanding the
capabilities of our Portable Milling Machines we present the
XYZ Taper Milling Machine. The new 40 taper tooling gives our
6T and 8T machines a variety of improved capabilities. The angular
contact bearings allows for better accuracy in cutting. The
speed of change allows greater utilization of existing tooling,
allowing more industry standardization plus more versatility
in applications.
The 40 taper spindle also allows the machine to take more per
cut.
They also offer a new sealed oil gear head for leak proof seals.
These more tooling friendly spindles give our mills more precision,
with a more rigid tool performance.
Like our standard milling machines, these XYZ Taper Milling
Machines are one of our most versatile machines, capable of
traveling and machining in all axis (XYZ). They may be clamped
or bolted directly onto the part being machined. If clamping
or bolting is impossible because of work area conditions, fabricated
set-up jugs and parallel mounting fixtures can be used to position
the milling machines in place.
50 Taper tooling with our 8T milling machine is now available.
